A scientific-practical conference on the topic “The Role of Digital Technologies in the Development of the Economy in the Republic of Azerbaijan” was held by the Student Scientific Society (SSC) of the Department of Information Technologies at the Faculty of Engineering of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
The event began with the National Anthem, followed by a moment of silence to honor the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and independence of Azerbaijan.
Rector Zafar Gurbanov addressed the event, praising the students’ projects and wishing them success in their future scientific endeavors. He emphasized that in recent years, ADAU has prioritized not only the acquisition of theoretical scientific knowledge but also the development of practical skills. Associate Professor Tavakgül Islamov, Dean of the Faculty, spoke about the importance of the event.
Head of the Department of Information Technologies Zakir Huseynov also addressed the audience, highlighting the relevance of the students’ topics. Student presentations included: - Nariman Velizade, Eljan Abbasov, Aysel Hasanova, Huseyn Valiyev: “E-library” – Electronic Library Management System, Musa Ibayev, Toghrul Sadigov: “EduPortal” E-learning Sharing and Online Course Platform, Nizami Mammadov, Huseyn Valiyev: “YouBase”, Platform for Sharing Events, Trainings, and Finding Venues, Murad Guliyev, Nurana Nadirova: “UniCareer” Career and Job Posting Website for University, Students Yusif Jabbarly, Jamil Muradov: “Safbazaar” E-Commerce Platform for Agricultural Products and Restaurants.
At the end of the conference, questions were answered, and discussions were held on the presented topics.
The participating students were awarded certificates.
